Hi, I’m Sabrina Luz an internationally recognised maternity and newborn photographer, creative director, fashion designer, and a proud mum. Based in Rothwell, North Brisbane, I specialise in creating thoughtful, elegant and deeply meaningful portraits that celebrate the beauty, strength and emotion of motherhood.

With over 16 years of professional experience, I have dedicated my life to capturing the most precious chapters of motherhood from the quiet anticipation of pregnancy to the tender first days with your newborn. My work has been honoured with multiple international awards, recognised for excellence in lighting, artistry, storytelling and emotional impact.

A STUDIO BUILT FOR MOTHERS

This studio was created with one clear purpose:
to offer mothers a calm, controlled and welcoming space where they can slow down, feel supported and simply be present.

Located in Rothwell, North Brisbane, Studio Sabrina Luz is a private photography studio designed around comfort, safety and intention. Every detail from the lighting to the flow of the space is carefully considered to create a peaceful environment for both mothers and babies.

Soft, thoughtfully crafted lighting allows for consistency, comfort and gentle transitions throughout the session. Neutral tones and a clean, uncluttered layout help reduce visual noise, so the focus stays where it belongs on connection, emotion and experience.

This is not a busy or rushed space.
It’s a studio designed to feel calm, unhurried and reassuring especially during pregnancy and the early days of motherhood.

Here, you don’t need to perform or worry about getting things “right.”
You arrive, you’re guided, and everything unfolds at a pace that feels right for you and your baby.

MY CREATIVE APPROACH

Photography for me isn’t just about taking pictures it’s about creating art that reflects real connection.

Because of my background in fashion design, I bring an elevated, couture-inspired perspective to every session. I personally design and curate gowns using advanced techniques like moulage, and our Client Closet features over 200 designer outfits that help you feel elegant and confident without the stress of choosing your own wardrobe.

This fusion of fashion sensibility + portrait storytelling means every image is intentional, artful and timeless not just a snapshot.
